Arken.Legal |
| Arken.Legal is a leading provider of digital services to the estate‑planning industry in the UK and internationally.
Our core platform delivers document automation for Wills and Trusts, dramatically reducing manual effort, improving accuracy, and enabling legal professionals to work faster and more profitably. We work with some of the largest legal firms across the UK, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand, and we are continuing to expand both our product offering and our global footprint. We’re a small, ambitious, and collaborative team. We move quickly, value ideas over hierarchy, and reward output — including a four‑day working week for a full‑time salary. This is an exciting time to join as we introduce new SaaS products and scale our operation.
|
Purpose |
| This is a new business, hunter‑style sales role focused on acquiring new customers.
You’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new clients within defined market sectors including law firms, will writers, accountants, and financial advisers. You’ll take a consultative sales approach, understanding how prospective clients operate today and clearly demonstrating how Arken’s products can remove friction, reduce rekeying, and speed up drafting workflows.
You’ll own the new‑business sales cycle end‑to‑end: from research and outreach, through discovery and demonstration, to close.
Your success will be measured primarily on new Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), with additional opportunities for shaping the product, working with our product, development and marketing teams.
|
Your role and responsibilities |
| New Business & Sales
· Proactively research and target new prospective clients in the UK · Lead discovery conversations to understand client workflows, pain points, and commercial drivers · Present and demonstrate Arken solutions in a clear, commercially compelling way · Close new subscription deals and achieve personal revenue targets · Build a strong personal pipeline and manage deals through to completion
Market Engagement & Brand Building · Build a strong network of contacts across the Wills & Probate sector · Increase knowledge and understanding of the estate‑planning market · Share relevant content and insights on LinkedIn to support lead generation and brand presence · Attend industry events and meetings as required
Collaboration & Process · Work closely with the Head of Growth, marketing, and customer teams to refine messaging and approach · Maintain accurate, high‑quality CRM data and activity tracking · Provide regular reporting on pipeline, activity, and performance · Contribute ideas and improvements as part of an agile, fast‑moving commercial team
|
Key Requirements |
| We’re looking for someone who is naturally competitive, curious, and tenacious, but who sells with credibility rather than pressure.
You will likely have:
|
Measures of Success |
| · Growth in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
· Growth in number of active customers/users · Non‑recurring revenue (e.g. training) · Individual productivity and contribution within agile sales sprints · Collaboration and contribution to overall commercial team performance |
Why join Arken? |
| · Clear ownership of new‑business results
· Competitive basic salary with achievable bonus · Four‑day working week · Real autonomy and influence in a growing team · Products that genuinely improve how legal professionals work · A collaborative, supportive, no‑ego culture
