Many volunteer roles have set hours; with us, you choose. Maybe you can work for a few hours a week or just the occasional event. You could volunteer at groups running at a time that suits you. Or apply and talk to us about the hours that fit with your schedule.

Training and development

Choose from our training and development opportunities. You can upskill while you’re doing something you enjoy! Some volunteers even go on to work in our buddy schemes out and about in the community. Or maybe you would like a leadership role to be your next step, working in Family Hubs or running community groups.

Youth Peer Mentors

Want to help other young people? You need to be 14 to 19 years old. Or 14 to 25 years old if you have special educational needs.

As a Youth Peer Mentor, you will:

• learn how to talk, lead, and work with others
• join group chats to share your ideas
• speak up for people your age
• help out at local events.

Get the confidence you need to help others with our training course. You’ll meet other young people at our face-to-face training. And learn new skills for your career or education plan.
